What is Briquetting

The Bnuetting is a process of Transformation of highly voluminous agricultural waste into compact clean non-polluting fuel. Briquetting can be done from many types of agricultural waste like saw dust. Groundnut shells, cotton waste. Rice Hucks, Corn Waste. Sun Flower Hucks, Baggasse. Leaves etc.

Profitability of Briquetting

Brequetted fuel has a very high colorofic value ranging between 3500/5000 K. Cals/Kgs. Depending on raw materials. It leaves very low ash contents of 2 to 10% as compared to 20 ro 40% in coal resulting pollution free environment. It has no fly ash. It burns very steadity and uniformly givig a long time heat. It is very economical in handling S storage due to its compactness and idesl size.

Usages

Due to its non-polluting quality demand is increasing day by day. It is widely used in Dyeing units. Bricks Kilns, Oil Mills. Chemical Plants, Paper Mill, Solvent Extraction Plats, Rubber Industry, Textile Industry etc.

Briquetting Process

First of all Raw Material of Bigger size is chopped and grinded to get desired size not more than 5mm in size. If Raw Material is wet then it is dryed through flash dryer to remove excess moisture. Finally it is Bnquetted through Om Briquetting Press.
